How Paperless works

Last updated: 1 August 2026 · A product of ACE Advisory

This page brings together, in plain language, everything you should know before you rely on Paperless: what it can do, what it cannot do, and how your information is handled.

Paperless is not a substitute for professional advice

Paperless helps you research Bangladesh’s tax and regulatory framework quickly and in plain language. It is an assistive tool. It does not file returns, does not act on your behalf with any authority, and does not replace advice from a qualified Income Tax Practitioner, Chartered Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant, or Advocate.

Always check an answer against the cited source before making a decision, and consult a qualified professional about your specific situation.

Where the answers come from

  • Paperless searches Bangladesh’s regulatory corpus, currently the Income Tax Act and related circulars since 2023, finds the relevant provisions, and writes a plain-language answer grounded in what it found.
  • Every answer carries a citation to the specific section, SRO or circular, so you can read the source yourself.
  • Where a source document is a draft or not yet final, we aim to flag it. During the beta this flagging is still being improved, so do not treat the absence of a flag as confirmation that something is final. Check the citation.

Paperless can make mistakes

Retrieval can occasionally miss a relevant provision, and AI-generated summaries can occasionally misstate or leave out a detail. This is exactly why every answer is paired with a citation you can check in seconds. If you find a wrong answer, please tell us at info@aceadvisory.biz; it helps us fix it for everyone.

Built by ACE Advisory

Paperless is not a general AI model pointed at Bangladesh’s tax law. It is built and maintained by ACE Advisory, one of Bangladesh’s tax and regulatory advisory firms. ACE’s professionals structure how the platform reads and organises the law, reading each amendment as it is issued. That grounding in real advisory practice is what “powered by ACE Advisory” means.

Where your data is processed

When you ask a question or upload a document, the content is processed by AI models accessed through OpenRouter, which routes requests to Anthropic’s Claude models. This means your question or document content may travel to, and be processed on, servers outside Bangladesh. The legal basis for this under the PDPA is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Your uploaded documents

  • A document you upload is used only to generate the answer you asked for. Nothing else, without your separate consent.
  • Documents are encrypted while travelling to us and while stored.
  • Access is restricted to the systems and people needed to provide the service.
  • Your documents are never used to train third-party AI models.
  • You can ask us to delete an uploaded document, or your whole account, at any time: info@aceadvisory.biz.

One thing we want to be open about: Paperless is in beta, and the exact retention period for uploaded documents is still being finalised. We will publish it on this page once it is set. Until then, deletion on request applies.
